Reality TV as an Art?
TV is an art, arguably, and we believe that the nuances of reality TV are a genre in and of themselves. If you’ve got direct satellite TV here are a few of the shows we think you should be watching – they’re educational, informational and you’ll feel more cultured than ever.
Inside the Actor’s Studio – James Lipton is still going strong as the interviewer who just won’t quit and he still attracts the best of the best. If you believe theater is an art, this is the show you can’t afford to miss.
Hoarders – A&E does it again with a docu-drama about hoarding…it’s roughly the same format as “Intervention” but provides deep insight into the human psyche and the turmoil of the mind. Watch it if you’ve ever been interested in psychotherapy.
Million Dollar Decorators – This show’s more fun than substance but you’ll get a glimpse inside the high-end world of interior design and have some laughs along the way. Aesthetically pleasing and hilarious at times, this is the show to watch on BRAVO right now.
