90′s Pop Artists Are Back On Tour! (Britney Spears, New Kids On The Block, Backstreet Boys)
Popular 90′s pop acts have recently begun touring again. Former teen sensation Britney Spears is currently touring to promote her Femme Fatale album. It is her first tour in two years, since the release of her last album, Circus. She will be touring North America this summer before heading to Europe in the fall. The theme of a femme fatale, French for “dangerous woman”, will be integrated into the tour. It will contain five segments making up a story, and her costumes will be based on femme fatale characters as well. It is expected to be her most over-the-top show yet.
The clash of the decades: 80′s boyband New Kids On The Block, or NKOTB, and 90′s boyband, the Backstreet Boys, are holding a combined tour as well this year. The tour is to promote a compilation collaboration album featuring greatest hits from both groups as well as two new songs. The album is appropriately titled NKOTBSB. As expected, the tour is very popular among 30-something female fans reliving their childhood and teenage memories.
